I am an accomplished IT professional specializing in Computer network Management, support and Security. Currently, I serve as a Network Engineer (NOC) at BDCOM Limited, where I excel in configuring, developing, optimizing and Securing network systems for a MPLS network. My expertise encompasses a broad range of network technologies and tools, including Firewall, Routers, Switches, OLTs, ONUs, VLANs, VPNs, Tunneling etc.
In my role, I ensure seamless network connectivity, swiftly diagnose and resolve L2 and L3 network issues, and enhance network performance through capacity planning and traffic analysis. My experience with various network components and my ability to address complex technical challenges have established me as a key asset in maintaining robust and reliable network operations.
In my previous position as an Assistant Engineer at Triangle Services Limited and as an IT Associate at Adiva Graphics, I demonstrated my skills in IT support and network engineering, effectively managing LAN, WAN. MAN activities and maintaining high standards of network security. - Implementing physical infrastructure of the network, using SWITCHES, OLTs, ONUs,
Media Converters(MC), SFP Modulers, Fiber optic cables, Connectors, and other physical network equipment.
-Ensure the proper placement of optical Splitters, Amplifiers, and other physical layer components.
- Quickly diagnose and resolve physical layer network issues, including Signal loss, Latency, or Connectivity problems.
- Utilize optical testing equipment such as OTDRs (Optical Time-Domain Reflectometers) and Power Meters to troubleshoot and pinpoint issues.
- Utilize tools like Putty Shell to access Optical Line Terminals (OLTs) to monitor and check parameters such as dBm levels, link status, and uptime/downtime.

- Maintain accurate records in the ERP for networkconfigurations, changes, and maintenance activities.
- Utilize tools like Google Earth to design and plan the physical infrastructure of the network, including fiber optic cable routes, network equipment placement, and geographic considerations.
